Trail Running Adventures

Trail Running Adventures

Most days, you have the option to join a guided trail running adventure in some of Iceland's most famous spots. We explore at a relaxed social pace, with plenty of stops. The runs vary in length from 5km to around 17km.

Experience the freedom of living the #vanlife. You got your home, bed and kitchen with you anywhere you go :)

One more majestic than the other. You'll see waterfalls of all types, heights and all angles. Most of them are just by the road for easy access.

Iceland has the biggest glacier in Europe. Along the road you'll see ice bergs floating by on lagoons and the big glacier tongues coming down from the mountains.

BBQ & Bonfires

Hot Springs

Hot Springs

Iceland is gifted with water geothermal heat. Together they make hot springs. Some are next to the road, others well hidden and less known. We will take you to the best ones!

Ása Steinars

Not many people know the Icelandic nature and photo spots better than Ása. She is born and raised in Iceland and has probably spent more time on mountains or next to waterfalls than home in Reykjavik. Follow her lead and you will never have a dull day.

Reykjavik - Seljalandsfoss

Pick up your campervan and hit the road. Our frist camp site is about 2h drive away but there's plenty to explore on the way. We recommend going for a hot spring hike and visit some waterfalls on the way. It's also a good idea to stock up on some food and drinks for the van.

South Coast Exploration

We explore the south coast and all its waterfalls. You got a smörgåsbord of amazing nature just by the road. They'll be a guided trail run to join if you want to, otherwise you are free to explore on your own. End the day in Vik on the famous black beach or perhaps go for a tandem paraglide flight in the sunset?

Glaciers & Vatnajökull Natural Park

We continue east into Vatnajökull natural park and the glacier territory. You can join us for an optional stop at glacier lagoons, trail running between icebergs on Diamond Beach. Or you could take a glacier hike. It's an incredible experience walking on the ice, seeing the ice falls and climbing through cracks (*available at extra cost)

Höfn & Stokksnes

Wake up in a remote camp site after a night around the bonfire. We continue east towards Höfn, the lobster capital of Iceland. on the way you can join us for a trail run to Svartifoss, or you could just chill in the hot springs in Hoffel, or both! We will also visit Stokknes, a beautiful black beach before lobster dinner in Höfn.

East Fjords

Welcome to the beautiful East Fjords of Iceland, surrounded by high mountains and water all around. We camp in Seydisfjördur, the most picturesque fjord of Iceland. This is also home to an amazing sushi restaurant serving fresh fish from the local fishermen, a great spot for dinner.

Volcanic Desert

The day starts with a drive through the biggest volcanic desert in Europe. Endless black lava fields before you reach the ocean and Husavik on the other side. On the way there's of course a hot spring to bath in as well as a geothermal area. We finish the day with an epic trail run (or optional whale watching tour*) and dinner.

*costs extra

Horseback Riding and drive home

We are making our way back towards Reykjavik. On the way is Skagafjördur, famous for being the best place in Iceland to go horseback riding. We highly recommend to try this. If you want even more adrenaline this is also where the best river rafting in Iceland is (*both available at extra cost). Or you could join us for a beautiful final trail run around Skagafjördur.
