A 2-night camping weekend in the heart of the Lake District curated & hosted by the Love Trails team. Expect a laid back weekend filled with trail running adventures, wild swimming, conversations around the bonfire, live music & inspiration. Join in with guided trail runs, or take your own path with help from our custom made local trail & adventure map you'll receive on arrival. This event has been Covid-19 risk assessed, is 100% outdoor and you'll have plenty of space. Please note this event is subject to government regulations at the time the event takes place. Lake District

Run, wild swim & adventure in the Lake District

England's largest and most impressive National Park, the Lake District is a World Heritage Site. Featuring England's highest mountain, deep glacial lakes, rugged fells and rolling grasslands, the Lake District is vast, wild and a bucket list destination for trail runners.

Within the National Park, you'll find all the land in England higher than 914m above sea level, including Scafell Pike, and the deepest and largest natural lakes in England - West Water and Windermere.

Where is the campsite?

Love Trails On Tour Lake District will be held at Springs Farm, Springs Rd, Keswick CA12 4AN

How do I get there?

By Car

Getting to Keswick is easiest to get to by car. Type Spring Farm, Springs Rd, Keswick CA12 4AN into Google maps and it will take you straight there. On arrival at the farm, please follow the Love Trails On Tour signage for where to park.

By Train

Windermere is the closest train station, with trains running from all over the UK, including London (with changes at Manchester and Lancaster) in 3 hours 20 minutes. Click here for journey information. From Windermere, there are several bus routes available.

By Bus

Local buses are available via Kendal, Windermere and other surrounding towns into Keswick. Check here for route information

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the campsite for free. Just follow the On Tour signage!

What about food?

You'll need to bring enough food for the weekend, or you can make a trip to one of the several local pubs close by. In typical Love Trails On Tour format, we will be organising for a local food pop up on Saturday night, and details of this will be available early 2021.

What should I bring with me?

This is not an exhaustive kit list, but we would recommend bringing the following with you on the weekend;

- Camping gear including tent, roll matt and sleeping bag - Towel & washkit - Small camping stove if you wish to make your own breakfast / dinners - Trail running shoes - A running pack / rucksack / race vest - Full waterproofs (you never know!) - Yoga matt / towel - Map of the local area and/or navigation device

What's the refund policy in light of Covid-19?

If the weekend is cancelled due to Covid-19 (ie government imposed restrictions that mean the event can't legally go ahead), you will have the option to receive a full cash refund (less 5% Booking Fees)

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! We're a super friendly bunch of runners and always want to welcome people coming on their own. Due to the Government rules and restrictions, we aren't organising any official 'Guided Trail Runs' like you would usually see at Love Trails, but there will always be someone from the Love Trails team around and we are more than happy to help with routes and trail running. I will also be doing a map reading 'Drop In' on Saturday morning for any questions or queries about the routes.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! However your dog will need to remain on it's lead in the campsite at all times.
