Camp Hartland, Dorset & The Jurassic Coast
Nestled in beautiful countryside just a short distance from Corfe Castle and Studland, Camp Hartland is the perfect campsite for an outdoors adventure. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and enjoy a fresh croissant, hot shower and plenty of super soft loo rolls.
The Jurassic Coast is a hugely diverse and beautiful landscape underpinned by incredible geology of global importance. In 2001 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Jurassic Coast is England’s only natural World Heritage Site. It was inscribed by UNESCO for the outstanding universal value of its rocks, fossils and landforms.
This secluded beach is situated in Arne RSPB reserve. A 5.634-square-kilometre nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest maintained by the RSPB. Run here and you'll stumble across tranquility.
Camping at Hartland Stud, you'll wake up in the rustic surroundings of working stables, nestled in the heath of Hartland Moor. From the campsite you'll have views of the Purbeck Hills, Corfe Castle, and the nearby Arne Nature Reserve. Hartland Stud comes with eco friendly compost loos, hot private shower cubicles, and a horse trailer serving hot drinks and fresh croissants.
Love Trails On Tour will be held at Hartland Stud, Soldiers Road, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 5DU

Getting to the campsite is easiest by car. Type 'Hartland Stud, Wareham' into Google Maps and it will take you straight there. Turn left into Soldiers Rd off A351 (between Wareham and Corfe) opposite the Halfway Inn. Carry on for half a mile, Hartland Stud sign on left.

Excellent train service into Wareham on the London, Waterloo to Weymouth, line. (2.5 hours from Waterloo)

Free parking is available to all Love Trails guests in the field right next to our camping field. For safety reasons, we cannot allow cars to park next to tents, but the fields are next to each other so you don't need to walk far with your stuff at all!
You'll need to bring enough food for breakfast and lunches for the weekend, or you can make a trip to the local SPAR, or a larger supermarket in Wareham, or one of the quaint local pubs close by. Camping stoves are allowed on site.
This is not an exhaustive kit list, but we would recommend bringing the following with you on the weekend;
- Camping gear including tent, roll matt and sleeping bag - Towel & washkit - Small camping stove if you wish to make your own breakfast / dinners - Trail running shoes - A running pack / rucksack / race vest - Full waterproofs (you never know!) - Yoga matt / towel - Map of the local area and/or navigation device
If the weekend is cancelled by us for any reason (including but not limited to Covid--19 ie government imposed restrictions that mean the event can't legally go ahead), you will have the option to receive a full cash refund.
You can pitch up at the campsite any time from 3pm on the Friday. But you can also join on the Saturday if that is easier.
Absolutely! We're a super friendly bunch of runners and always want to welcome people coming on their own. Due to the Government rules and restrictions, we aren't organising any official 'Guided Trail Runs' like you would usually see at Love Trails, but there will always be someone from the Love Trails team around and we are more than happy to help with routes and trail running. I will also be doing a map reading 'Drop In' on Saturday morning for any questions or queries about the routes.
Yes! However your dog will need to remain on it's lead in the campsite at all times.
Please email us hello@lovetrails.com and we'll be happy to help
